Today is a Public Holiday, and mummy has plan to bring me and grandfather to go outdoor for canopy walk at KL Forest Eco Park today.
I was wonder where is this place and I am so exciting!
I wake up about 7:15 am and I clean up myself. We leave home about 7.45 am. We reach Forestry Information Center at 8.15 am.
Where to parking your car? – Next to Forestry Information Center, there is an empty car park (RM 6 per entry)
What is the entrance fees the KL Forest Eco Park? – FREE
Where is KL Forest Eco Park? – It is located in the City Center of Kuala Lumpur, between Jalan Ampang and Jalan Raja Chulan. (simple as) You may see the Forestry Information Center on your left hand side along Jalan Raja Chulan after you pass by Menara Telekom and Menara Olmypia on your left.
What are the attractive in KL Forest Eco Park? – Canopy Walkway; Forest Trail; Jungle Tracking; Herbs Garden; Wildlife; Birds; Camping; Picnicking; Research
Visiting Hours? – 8.00 am – 6.00 pm (KL Forest Eco Park) 9.00 am – 5.00 pm (Forestry Information Center)
What to wear? – Comfortable and casual with sport shoe. Remember to put on mosquito repellent spray and patch.
The first time I was on the canopy walkway, I am a bit afraid that My grandfather purpose move and shake the canopy, make me scream. But I know he is trying to train me up to be brave. Last, I can walk confidently and even look down to see all plants and look up to see all 100 years tree. This is a beautiful forest! This is a very good outdoor activities, I enjoy so much about the canopy walkway! That is fun! This is the part which you MUST NOT miss out during this Forest Trail.
I spend about 45 minute in KL Forest Eco Park with mummy and grandfather.
Before we leave, we drop by Forestry Information Center and I got to find our the type and history about all kind of forests; you may find our lots of information in the center and it’s air-con, a place place to cool down yourself after a sweat and hot day!
I will be back again, next trip I will bring grandma! I will be the tour leader…..
